Palliative care is an approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problems associated with life-threatening illness, through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification and careful assessment and treatment of pain and other symptoms, physical, psycho-social and spiritual.

How can the Home Palliative Care Nepal service help?

This service uses a short cell phone questionnaire about 12 common symptoms which a patient or her/his family member can complete and send over a phone to a place where the information is organized for a doctor to see. The doctor can then make recommendations about treatments that can help make the symptoms better. This service helps patients to get treatments at home.

For people with ongoing symptoms, there is nothing more helpful than getting connected with a doctor regularly. Our cell phone symptom questionnaire app helps you to be connected with a doctor regularly.

Benefits for Doctors

Doctors are busy; it is difficult for doctors to get complete information about a patient’s symptoms when the patient is at home. Our system helps doctors to get up to date information, and provide care for patients at home.
